    Charming Stay with Special Moments

I stayed with my partner for six nights and loved the cozy atmosphere. The room felt spacious and clean. Enjoyed evening treats in the lobby—great cookies and hot chocolate! Pro tip, plan for longer check-in times, but it’s worth it for the warm staff and classy vibe.

    great location
    beautiful decor
    spacious fitness center
    missing amenities

The hotel offers a fantastic location, making it easy for my family to explore the holiday shops along State Street. We enjoyed the beautiful decor reminiscent of the roaring '20s. The fitness center was also a highlight, spacious and well-equipped for a good workout.

In my wife’s opinion, the lack of a mini-fridge in the room was disappointing for keeping snacks handy for the kids.

I had a wonderful experience during my recent stay while attending an event at a nearby venue. The staff at the concierge desk were incredibly helpful in providing directions and tips for getting around the city. The bartenders at the lobby bar were equally attentive, making our evenings enjoyable. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, giving a quaint yet inviting atmosphere to our visit.

    lovely ambiance
    convenient location
    lengthy check-in
    no coffee maker

Staying at this historic hotel offered a lovely ambiance and convenient location, although the room could have used some TLC. The check-in process was a bit lengthy, and it was disappointing that there was no coffee maker in the room. Overall, a pleasant experience with memorable charm.

    would book again

Room was spacious with a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a DVD player. Clean towels, shampoo, and body soap were provided. The view from the 17th floor was nice, overlooking the lake between buildings. Close to Michigan Avenue and food spots like Lou Malnati's. Plus, having a Starbucks in the hotel was super convenient.

    staff kindness

Great stay for those seeking historic charm

I asked for a suite upgrade and Ashante, the front desk lady who checked us in, made it happen. Not only did we get a spacious 3 bathroom suite, but breakfast vouchers and brownie vouchers too.

It wasn’t inexpensive, but given the perks it was still acceptable.
